VENN has partnered with Nexstar Inc., the telecommunications company with more than 190 TV stations across the U.S., to create a custom Gaming Hub featuring videos and articles covering gaming and pop culture. The Gaming Hub is available across all Nexstar websites and apps, including Nexstar television station websites such as Los Angeles’ KTLA and Chicago’s WGNTV.

The partnership between VENN and Nexstar was initially announced in October, when the telecom company led VENN’s series A funding round with a 26 million dollar investment. The Gaming Hub is the first content to come from that partnership.

The gaming industry experienced a significant revenue spike in 2020, and Nexstar hopes to capitalize on its relationship with VENN to attract younger audiences. VENN currently airs over 20 hours of original weekly programming out of its Los Angeles studios.

Additional programming, content and distribution deals will be unveiled over the coming months.
