Simply being a part of the Ambassador program doesn't guarantee beta codes, however. The program’s official FAQ states that Silver-ranked Ambassadors or above will have "a greater chance of being selected for the beta." Ranks are based on points accumulated by completing certain activities as a part of the program. That may include linking social media accounts, following certain Twitter accounts, making posts with applicable hashtags, or, in the past, finding all 20 Charlie Dolls in the Resident Evil 3: Raccoon City demo within a certain timeframe.
It's safe to say if you're just signing up for the Ambassador program, you may not have very much luck being selected for a beta code, but at least it seems the process is random otherwise, as the FAQ states that Silver users have twice the chance of being chosen, while Gold users have five times the chance and Platinum users have 10 times the possibility.
The beta test is relegated to one sign-up per person and if you aren't selected for the first deadline — which ended Friday (with users receiving email invitations) — you can try for the second deadline, which is up next Monday. Those selected will receive announcements and codes next Wednesday.
If you're interested in jumping into the Resident Evil Re:Verse closed beta likely weeks ahead of an open release, this is your best shot. Capcom has yet to announce anything for the wider Resident Evil fanbase, but if you’re interested in playing before the rest of the world, this is your best shot.
Otherwise, if you’re a horror hound already, racking up points as an Ambassador is a good way to ensure you don’t miss out on the next beta, closed or otherwise. There are frequent play tests, focus groups, and other activities for Resident Evil fans that you could potentially be invited to now and then.
